On February 1, 2018 the new mandatory Youth Protection Training was released. This online course is replacing all previous Youth Protection training and will become the required training all adults complete. Adult volunteers must complete their training by October 1, 2018. If an adult volunteer fails to obtain this updated training by October, they will no longer be allowed to participate in Scouting activities until the course is completed.
With these changes we will continue to build a safe environment for our youth. Nothing is more important than the safety of our children. The Boy Scouts of America will not stand by while people take advantage of our trusted program to harm children. For more information, visit my.Scouting.org.
