Two Locations in Columbia SC

JOTA/JOTI is an annual event in which about 500,000 Scouts and Guides all over the world make contact with each other by means of amateur radio and Scoutlink. It is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged by short-wave radio and ideas are shared, thus contributing to the world brotherhood of Scouting.
Participants are also eligible to earn the International Spirit Award for their age group.

 The JOTA is a worldwide event.

It is for all members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), and members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
This event is Free to all Boy Scouts, Venturers, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts and their parents and leaders .

Raise awareness about Ham Radio as the Columbia Amateur Radio Club helps our community prepare for communications in the event of an emergency. Speak to Scouts across the world!

Plus earn part of the International Spirit Award requirements for your age group
