International Scouting at Indian Waters Council

Mission Statement

The purpose of the International Committee of Indian Waters Council is to promote International Scouting awareness and opportunities both at home and abroad for Indian Waters Council youth and adults at all levels of Scouting. The committee is charged with promoting contact with other Scouting units throughout the world and offering programs that educate our own Scouts about our membership in the World Organization of Scouting Movement (WOSM).

Imagine being at a Scout camp in the Alps , attending the World Scout Winter Games in Switzerland, or going to the PanAmerican Jamboree in Mexico and visiting Mayan pyramids with Mayan Scouts? Perhaps you have a Cub Scout Den that would like to talk to another Scout in a faraway place, or write letters to another troop or den in a distant land? Or perhaps you would like to have a Scout or several Scouts stay with you while you show them how the Scouts in the BSA have fun?

Soon the Scouts and Scouters of Indian Waters Council will many opportunities to enjoy International opportunities in Scouting both here at home and abroad.
